Hi, I'm Wendy.
WHERE I COME FROM
I have roots in this community. My grandparents grew up in Bend, and my father is a graduate of Mountain View High School. I spent summers here with my grandparents while growing up, creating many fond memories. After the passing of my husband, a proud Marine, I decided to raise my kids here in the same amazing place as three generations before them.
I've worked in education for over 15 years, and also work in medical for the last 4 years. I'm the first generation college graduate from a blue collar family and therefore deeply appreciate the value of education to improve lives.
A CAREER IN EDUCATION
Currently serving as Adjunct Faculty, Business Ethics, Portland State University and Practice Manager, Bend Hernia Center.
Over 15 years experience including, Adjunct Professor, Florida International University; Assessment Services Program Specialist/GED Chief Examiner, Clackamas Community College.
MBA from Marylhurst University and BBSA Business Administration & Marketing from Suffolk University.
Because kids are essential.
We cannot allow continued lockdowns and lack of education to destroy the lives and collective future of our children. Education matters and I'm ready to fight for the kids.
